    Trek from Wan to Bedni Bugyal After a hearty breakfast, you’ll start your trek to Bedni Bugyal, a stunning alpine meadow. The trek is approximately 11 km and takes about 5-6 hours. As you ascend, you will be surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful landscapes. Upon arrival at Bedni Bugyal, set up camp and enjoy dinner under the stars.

  • Day 3: Trek from Bedni Bugyal to Bhagwabasa.

    Bedni Bugyal to Bhagwabasa On this day, you will trek from Bedni Bugyal to Bhagwabasa, covering around 10 km in about 5-6 hours. The path offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. After a rewarding day of trekking, settle into your campsite at Bhagwabasa and enjoy your evening meal.

  • Day 4: Trek to Roopkund Lake and return to Bhagwabasa.

    Bhagwabasa to Roopkund Lake This is the most anticipated day of your trek. After an early breakfast, embark on a challenging trek to Roopkund Lake, which is approximately 12 km round trip and will take around 7-8 hours. The ascent is steep, but the sight of the glacial lake surrounded by majestic peaks makes every effort worthwhile. Spend time exploring the area and marvel at the skeletal remains that give the lake its eerie nickname. Afterward, return to Bhagwabasa for another overnight stay.

  • Day 5: Trek from Bhagwabasa to Patar Nachauni.

    Bhagwabasa to Patar Nachauni From Bhagwabasa, you’ll trek to Patar Nachauni, a distance of about 8 km, which takes approximately 4-5 hours. The trail takes you through varied terrain and provides stunning views. Once at Patar Nachauni, set up camp and relax for the evening.

  • Day 6: Descent from Patar Nachauni to Wan Village.

    Patar Nachauni to Wan Village After breakfast, begin your descent back to Wan Village, covering around 14 km in about 5 hours. The descent through enchanting meadows and forest paths offers a refreshing change of scenery. Arrive at Wan, check into your guesthouse, and unwind after your trek.

  • Day 7: Drive back to Rishikesh.

    Return to Rishikesh After breakfast, you’ll drive back to Rishikesh from Wan Village, concluding your Roopkund adventure. Depending on your departure plans, you might have some time to explore Rishikesh before heading home.
