Day 1: Rishikesh to Yamunotri (via Barkot, 236 km)
Start your journey early in the morning as you drive from Rishikesh to Yamunotri via Barkot, covering a distance of approximately 236 km. This is the first dham you will visit among the four sacred dhams. Upon reaching Yamunotri, check into your hotel where you will stay overnight. Take some time to relax and prepare for the trekking adventure ahead.

Day 2: Yamunotri Temple Trek (7 km) and Transfer to Uttarkashi (100 km)
After an early breakfast, begin your trek to Yamunotri Temple, which is around 7 km from your accommodation. The trek is scenic, and you can hire a pony or use a palanquin for convenience at your own cost. Once you reach the temple, perform the darshan and soak in the spiritual atmosphere. After your visit, trek back to Barkot, and then drive to Uttarkashi, which is about 100 km away. Check into a hotel in Uttarkashi for your overnight stay.

Day 3: Uttarkashi to Gangotri (via Harshil, 100 km/3 hrs)
On the morning of Day 3, have your breakfast and set off for Gangotri. The drive to Gangotri, via Harshil, is approximately 100 km and takes about 3 hours. After arriving, visit the Gangotri Temple for darshan. Following your spiritual experience, you will return to Uttarkashi, where you will check into your hotel for the night.

Day 4: Uttarkashi to Rishikesh (300 km)
On the final day of your pilgrimage, enjoy an early breakfast before beginning your drive back to Rishikesh. This journey covers approximately 300 kilometers and offers a chance to reflect on the spiritual experiences you've had during the Yatra. As you travel through the picturesque landscapes of Uttarakhand, take in the serene beauty of the region one last time. Upon arrival in Rishikesh, you’ll conclude your Do Dham Yatra with delightful memories of the sacred journey.
