कल्पेश्वर महादेव तक ट्रेक मध्यम कठिनाई वाला होता है और लगभग 5-6 घंटे में पूरा होता है। यह पर्यटकों को आस-पास की पहाड़ियों, हरे-भरे जंगलों, छोटी-छोटी नदियों की सुंदर दृश्यमान वातावरण का आनंद देता है। ट्रेक को मई से अक्टूबर के बीच करना उचित होता है जब मौसम अनुकूल होता है।

मंदिर के दर्शन करने वालों को सलवार-कमीज या धोती-कुर्ता जैसे परंपरागत वस्त्र पहनना सलाह दी जाती है और मंदिर की परिसर में प्रवेशरखा जाता है। इसके अलावा, ट्रेक करने वालों को सही जूते और अनुकूल वस्त्र जैसे ट्रैकिंग शूज और जैकेट पहनने की सलाह दी जाती है।

कल्पेश्वर महादेव तक पहुंचने के लिए आपको रुद्रप्रयाग से होकर गौरिकुंड के बाद जाना होगा। फिर आपको लगभग 10 किलोमीटर का ट्रेक करना होगा ताकि आप मंदिर तक पहुंच सकें।

Kalpeshwar Mahadev is a Hindu temple located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, India. It is one of the five sacred temples dedicated to Lord Shiva in the region and is believed to be a part of the Panch Kedar pilgrimage.

The temple is located at an elevation of around 2,200 meters above sea level and is surrounded by the beautiful Himalayan mountains. It is also believed to be the only temple where Lord Shiva is worshipped in his hair (jata). The temple is small in size but is rich in spiritual significance and is considered a holy site by devotees.

The trek to Kalpeshwar Mahadev is moderately difficult and takes around 5-6 hours to complete. It offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains, lush forests, and small streams. The trek is best undertaken between May and October when the weather is favourable.

Schedule Details

Day 1: Rishikesh to Helang (240 km, 8-9 hours)

You will start your journey early in the morning from Rishikesh and drive to Helang. On the way, you will pass through the beautiful towns of Devprayag, Srinagar, Rudraprayag, and Karnaprayag. Once you reach Helang, you will check into a hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Helang to Kalpeshwar (12 km, 5-6 hours)

After breakfast, you will start trekking to Kalpeshwar. The trek is moderate in difficulty and takes around 5-6 hours to complete. On the way, you will pass through lush forests, waterfalls, and small streams. Once you reach Kalpeshwar, you will visit the ancient Kalpeshwar Mahadev temple and explore the surroundings. You will spend the night in a tent or a guest house.

Day 3: Kalpeshwar to Rishikesh (240 km, 8-9 hours)

After breakfast, you will start trekking back to Helang and then drive back to Rishikesh. You will reach Rishikesh in the evening, where the tour ends.
