Kedarkantha winter trekk is famous winter trekk. It is famous for its scenic beauty. It is a snow trekk that starts from village sankri situated in uttarkashi district of uttarakhand. This trekk consist small beautiful perks on the way to sankri. “Kedarkantha winter trek” refers to a himalayan peak situated at a height of aprox 3800mtr. One can enjoy the view of approx 11 peaks from the kedarkantha summit. Kedarkantha is an easy to moderate trekk that needs proper equipment. It is a snow trekk and requires trekking pole good quality trekking shoes.

Schedule Details

Day 1 : Dehradun to Naitwar/sankri

Drive from Dehradun to Naitwar/sankri via Mussoorie and overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 2 : Juda ka Taal

Drive to village Sankri, after completing government documentation and start the trek. After reaching the first tea point/Juda ka taal. pitch your tent and overnight stay.

Day 3 : Kedarkantha Base

Wake up and start your trek from Juda ka tal to kedarkantha base/peak summit. After spending some time trek back to Juda ka taal and overnight stay in tents.

Day 4 : Back to Dehradun

Hike back to sankri and drive to mahasu devta hanol. After visiting temple drive back to Dehradun. Overnight stay in Mussoorie/Dehradun.

What Will Be The Temperature

Ensure that you stay covered with thermals and enough jackets to withstand the temperature that is between 8°C to 15°C during the day and -5°C to 3°C at the night.
