Dashrath ka danda
Dashrath ka danda is a small trek of 8kms from the temple of pawki devi Rishikesh the temple is dedicated to goddess sati, it is an easy to moderate trek where you will find the majestic view of Himalayan ranges.
It is famous as one day trek among the explorer who is ready to explore something new
One has to pass several ridges and trails to reach the top.
One can find snowfall of around “one or two feet” in peak winter season.

One can do this trek in one day or one night and two day. It is eight to nine kilometer one side and one can do this trek either in one day or in a couple of days.
Dashrath ka danda is famous among trekkers who are always willing to find new routes, one can do this trek while visiting rishikesh for two or three days with family or friends. In this trek one can get the view of several Himalayan ranges from the top. People of nearby village use to go on the top during rainy season for feeding there cattle. this trek is a hidden beauty of rishikesh, no one can go there easily without proper guide because dense forest is always waiting with surprises in the form of hidden wild animals as a result one can miss himself in the jungle
